Trademark application:

We will gladly guide you through the process of trademark registration, including the preparation of a suitable list of goods and services, filing the application with the respective Office and answering all official notifications.

We offer consultancy, preparation and evaluation of individually tailored IP registration strategies, taking into account all advantages and disadvantages, as well as the associated costs.

Trademark protection in other countries:

Via our worldwide network of cooperating attorneys (for example in the USA, China, Japan or Russia), we organise and coordinate abroad trademark applications as your (single) central point of contact.

IP portfolio management:

We will gladly be entrusted with managing and evaluating your IP portfolios and keeping track of important deadlines including the due payment of renewal fees.

Opposition and cancellation proceedings:

In order to remove potentially dangerous or disruptive third-party IP rights, we prepare and conduct opposition or cancellation proceedings.

Trademark searches:

We organise and carry out need-based searches, e.g. identity searches, similarity searches, IP monitoring, freedom-to-operate searches and legal status searches.

Infringement of IP rights:

We assess trademark infringements and, respectively, infringements of your trademarks by competitors’ trademarks. In addition, we prepare and respond to IP warnings and cease-and-desist letters, prepare infringement opinions, negotiate and seek out-of-court solutions and prosecute product piracy.

Freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis:

We organise freedom-to-operate projects, e.g. for due diligence, and plan and conduct FTO research and evaluate the results, on which basis we then prepare risk assessments..

Seminars and workshops:

We are happy to offer ready-made or customized seminars and workshops on various IP topics, as well as training courses for IP departments and in-house counsels on substantive, legal and administrative topics, e.g. introduction to IP rights, IP strategies or the current jurisdiction in Austria and at the European Patent Office.
